Dad came over last week and installed the ceiling fans. Living room ceiling fan. We went with dark colored blades to match the wood floors.
We put the same white fan in both the master and spare bedrooms.
Craig holding up where the bathroom mirror will be.
The bathroom after Craig put in the toilet paper holder, towel rack, and hook.
Closet before Craig and Randy built the shelves for it.
Pictures of the shelves, probably need 1-2 more coats of paint and they’ll be done. We are putting a 2” trim piece in front of each shelf. On top of the closet will be one big shelf. We are getting cabinet doors made to match the interior doors. Small houses need lots of storage space!
Temporary sleeping quarters. All of the interior doors when they were being painted.
In the master bedroom, Craig’s closet on the right.
Closet in the spare bedroom (still needs knobs to open). And here is my closet, it runs the length of that wall. Pretty excited about that! Now I just need to figure out how I want my shelves. In the living room, door goes into our bedroom. Our goal is for the middle room not to look like this by the end of this week (Sunday)! I hope it doesn’t. There is a lot of work to do in here though. Sand, texture paint the new drywall to match the existing walls, prime walls and ceiling, paint walls and ceiling, prime and paint the trim work and door frames…. ok well maybe that all won’t get done this week but it is a good goal to shoot for!
I have to say thanks to all of our friends and family who continue to help us on our huge project! Randy, Derrick, Zac and Leslie all came over on Saturday to help put in the doors and do other projects. We couldn’t do it without you guys!
