About Me

My photo
We got married October 23, 2010 and our sweet baby boy was born July 2, 2012. We have been remodeling our "new" home since January 2010 and I have documented the entire process, and will continue to do so.

What used to be a kitchen…

I don’t feel like typing a lot of explanation for these pictures, and the pretty much speak for themselves, so I’m just going to post a bunch of pictures from yesterday’s kitchen demolition!

Before pics (mainly of the cabinets):

Now the demolition:

WOW huh? We found many layers of paneling and wallpaper, a few old window frames, a pretty neat looking old exterior wall from before the kitchen was added, and a transom (no glass though, bummer) above the back door leading to the laundry/mud room. I kind of want to keep the brick wall and keep the transom and find an antique piece of glass or new glass to fill it, but we’ll see!

Hopefully we will have more pictures to share by the end of this week. And NO the middle room has not been painted yet. This week! Hopefully! :)

  1. Litney, I LOVE that brick wall. I think that would look awesome if you kept it!! You can clean brick so eaily! Or even paint it white. You are so lucky!! Looks like you have a LOT of work on your hands. But it will look awesome when it's done. Good luck!!
